Meeting Minutes
November 18, 2013
The meeting was called to
order at 7:00 by President Dick Heismann.
The club Christmas Party is
going to a potluck on December 16th at
6:00 p.m. The club will provide barbeque and we’re
asking everyone to bring a dish to pass. Sue Loucka
will post a message to the club’s mailing list so
that we know how many will be attending and what
they’re bringing. Family and friends are encouraged
to join us.
The Technician Class will
be a 10 week class beginning on the second Thursday
of January. The only charge will be for the cost of
the books. Interested parties need to sign up ahead
of time so we know how many books to order. We voted
to put an ad in the Chester County Independent to
promote the class. We’ll try to get it posted in the
What’s Happening section of the paper also. Dick is
going to make up flyers to put in local businesses
and will check with the schools to see if we can put
them up there. Joe Loucka is going to see about
putting an announcement about the class on the
repeater.
Joe Loucka gave a very
interesting and informative presentation on Digital
Modes.
The meeting was adjourned
at 8:15 pm.
