Meeting Minutes
August 18, 2016

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 by President Richard Heismann.

The minutes were read and a Treasurer’s Report was given.

We talked about meeting at Radio Shack on Saturday morning at 8:00 if anyone was interested in going to the Huntsville Hamfest.

We reminded everyone of our quarterly license testing session at 9:00 on August 27^th.

Our October meeting will be a Storm Spotter class presented by NOAA.

We also talked about trying to get a station at FHU to generate interest in Amateur Radio at the University.

We spent the rest of the meeting practicing soldering. First we practiced soldering a couple of wires together and then put together a simple circuit on a proto board. When we finished we were able to light an LED to prove that the circuit worked.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
