Meeting Minutes
February 17, 2014

President Dick Heismann AJ4VZ called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.

Sue Loucka read the January minutes and the Treasurer’s Report, both of which were approved as read.

In Old Business, it was decided that we would have two foxes for the fox hunt and we will be giving two Baofeng UV5RA Radios for the first place prize. The date of the hunt will be Saturday, April 26^th from 10:00 to 1:00.

There was a long discussion about the need for offset attenuators. They are available in kits and will be built individually. We ran out of time to build the antennas but Joe Loucka AG4QC offered to help anyone who was having trouble building the antenna or the attenuator.

Our thanks to Dick Heisman for assembling and donating the kits.

There will be VE testing on Saturday, February 22^nd at 9:00 at the Fire Station.

Our next meeting will be on March 17^th when we’ll practice with the antennas in preparation for the fox hunt.

A motion to adjourn was made at 8:25 p.m.
