FHUARC Meeting Minutes
Jan. 18, 2007

President Joe Loucka opened the meeting at 7:00 PM at Henderson City Hall.
In attendance:  Joe and Sue Loucka, Joe Newton, Lorne Newton, Mickey 
Burkhead, Mike and Louise Burkhead, Dexel Burns, Barry Smith, Jimmy 
Helvering, Thad Williams, and Dan Crump.
Discussed possible agenda for the Club for 2007.
VE testing session at Pinson Church of Christ at 0900 Saturday, Jan. 20. 
This is a regular session that is done quarterly.
General Class school going on now at City Hall (Monday evenings at 6:00 PM). 
President Loucka said about 20 persons taking class.  Thanks to Joe and 
Richard for their efforts to teach and "Elmer" new hams into the hobby.
February, '07, meeting open to discussion on meeting program.  Maybe a 
speaker on APRS.  Mike will have a Power Point presentation on Damage 
Assessment from TEMA.  Joe may also include a session on useage of watt 
meters (power meters), etc.

VE test session for General Class that is now going on set for March 19, 
2007.
Quarterly VE test session set for April 21, 2007.
Possibly a foxhunt for May, 2007.
Mike, K4TC, made a motion to do "tailgate party" instead of a hamfest this 
year.  Seconded by Barry, K4DJX.  Motion passed.  "Tailgate Party" set for 
June 2, 2007, at Chester County High School parking lot.

Joe presented a program on some software that will help the homebrewer and 
builder.  This computer program helps show how to build, test, and 
troubleshoot circuits on the computer.  This program is available on-line, 
and is called "LT SPICE".
