Had a training session, ending with an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Activation exercise at the end of the two-day Conference. Ron explained the mission of the ARES system. An ARES exercise is being planned for later in the year. Chester Co. ARES has 16 members at this time.

A Storm Spotters Class is scheduled for October 14, the regular meeting night, in the Courtroom of the Public Safety Building, at 6:30 PM. The Public Safety Building is across the street from Henderson City Hall.

Many thanks to Ron and Beverly Means for providing refreshments for the meeting. The fellowship was great!
